OVERVIEW
From the coauthor of Dork Diaries comes a witty and engaging picture book about a prankster who wants to pull off the best prank of all—pranking the Tooth Fairy!
Kaylee loves pulling pranks: from dropping water balloons on passers by to even tricking Santa Claus, she’s a prize-winning prankster!
But is she the Princess of Pranks? No! That title is held by none other than the Tooth Fairy. But when Kaylee loses a tooth and the Tooth Fairy goes about her usual tooth-taking business, Kaylee pranks her with a fake frog. As Kaylee and the Tooth Fairy try to out-prank one another, things get way out of hand, until the two finally see eye and eye and decide to share the crown!

My tooth fairy left a quarter. Obviously this was a looooong time ago. This book looks like it would be great for my kindergarten students.

Mine did too… I learned many years later that other kids were getting more

My tooth fairy left me quarters. My sister lives abroad, and I just learned from my nephew a few days ago that they have a Tooth Mouse!

Oh wow! I’ve read about the Tooth Mouse in one of the books in my ALL ABOUT TEETH post but I’ve never met anyone who had one. Do they work like tooth fairies, taking teeth and leaving treats behind?

Yes, it’s just the same as tooth fairies, except it’s a little mouse bringing the money or treats instead. The poor love was scared that a mouse was going to be under his pillow!

Oh dear. I can imagine my daughter being either very worried or very excited at the prospect 😂

My daughter is 5 years old and just anxiously waiting for her first tooth to fall out so that the tooth fairy can come. This book would be really good for her. When the tooth fairy does come, I think it will be very magical and involve lots of sparkle pixie dust, a sweet note and some money.

A dollar, but I love the cute sticker idea. Will have to save that for when mine starts losing teeth!

When I was a kid the tooth fairy usually left $1! My kids haven’t lost any teeth yet. What’s the going rate these days?

That’s really what this question is about—my oldest is creeping up on that age and I don’t know 😄

When I was little, the tooth fairy usually left nickels, but one time I received a Mother Goose book. I loved it!

Oh wow. I love the book idea! But that requires a certain degree of finesse our fairy may not have 😜
